Corey Walz
President

Before founding Walz Capital, Mr. Walz acted as the Director of Acquisitions at Alliance Consolidated Group of Companies. During his tenure the group placed $50,000,000 across 18 assets throughout the United States, consistently generating investment yield at 5% above benchmark investment alternatives.

Featured tenants represented by Corey include United Healthcare, Fresenius Dialysis, US Renal Care, DaVita Dialysis and a multitude of medical specialists/private investors.

Mr. Walz received degrees in both International Business and Marketing with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Oklahoma Graduating with honors and as a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society recognizing academic achievement in international business. Additionally, Mr. Walz holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Finance from Cornell University, is a member in good standing on the National Council of Exchangors, and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois.

​He currently serves as Finance Chairperson on the University of Oklahoma Alumni Club of Chicago, Finance Advisor to the Beta Theta Pi Colony at Loyola Chicago, Trustee and Secretary of the Beta Theta Pi Alumni Association of Chicago, 
and Treasurer of the Associate Board of Gateway for Cancer Research.
Collin Kraft
 Vice President | Acquisitions

Mr. Kraft serves as Vice President of Walz Capital and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing medical real estate acquisition opportunities throughout the country. Mr. Kraft has spent the duration of his career in many asset classes within the net lease space including medical real estate. He previously served as Director of Acquisitions for a private capital group that acquires and manages a broad portfolio of medical office properties throughout the United States. While serving in this role, he excelled in both traditional medical office acquisitions as well as the structuring of sale-leaseback opportunities for medical office facilities including both national and regional hospital systems and local physician groups. 

Mr. Kraft began his career as a broker with Marcus & Millichap, where he focused on the disposition and acquisition of primarily net leased properties, successfully representing landlords across 15 states and structuring portfolio sale-leasebacks for some of the nation’s largest franchisees. During his tenure, he worked with a spectrum of clients including institutional investors, private equity funds, and developers.

Mr. Kraft received his General Business degree in Economics, Marketing and Communication from the University of North Texas.

As an always active entrepreneur, Shawn also serves as Founder and CEO of Oklahoma Realty Advisors. 

Sample clients led and served include Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Johns Hopkins and a wide range of private businesses and start-ups.

In 2017 he received Oklahoma’s first, and exclusive, regional representation for MD Preferred, the nation’s leading Healthcare real estate and relocation platform reserved for Physician Realty relocation, investment, and Senior Living. 

In addition, his national Realty partnerships and their associated marketing platforms have been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and over 300 additional leading publications nationwide.

Shawn holds a dual Masters from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor’s Health System – perennially ranked as the nation’s top ranked Healthcare management program – and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas specializing in Strategic planning and Venture Capital.
Mike Knudsen
Retail Investments & NNN Lease Specialist

Mike Knudsen has over a decade of national retail leasing, investment sales and 1031 advisory experience, in tandem with an intensive aptitude deeply rooted in finance, technology, and commercial real estate portfolio theory — three key underpinnings of the group’s ethos. He has transacted and participated in brokerage activities yielding over half a billion in square feet and dollars sold.

In addition to his role with Walz Capital, Mr. Knudsen is the founder and managing principal of the NNN Properties Group, a vertically integrated commercial real estate advisor specializing in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development and recapitalization of single and multi-tenant retail net lease investment properties located in dynamic metropolitan markets nationwide.

Prior to Walz Capital and the NNN Properties Group, Mr. Knudsen served key roles at CB Richard Ellis, Colliers and the Stan Johnson Company. His tenure at these industry-leading firms provided intensive exposure to and refinement of the finer points of brokerage across all aspects of the commercial real estate advisory industry, including landlord representation; single and multi-tenant retail net lease investment sales; and ground-up development and urban infill redevelopment advisory services on a national scale.

Mr. Knudsen received his Bachelors from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Finance. He is a licensed real estate broker in California, Nevada, Wyoming and Missouri, as well as a licensed private placement offerings representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

​Mr. Knudsen is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Notre Dame Alumni Association, and the Chartered Realty Investors Society.
